Laser therapy

Laser therapy is a passive therapy using low levels of light energy (photons) that penetrate deep into painful or inflamed tissues to reduce swelling or irritation of joint tissues and promote healing. The photons activate cellular changes that allows the damaged cells to recover and regrow from an injury. This is a painless therapy that lasts approximately 5 minutes per area being treated. Laser therapy is particularly beneficial for conditions including, but not limited to:

  • Ligament sprains

  • Muscle strains

  • Tendinitis

  • Bursitis

  • Osteoarthritis pain

  • Rheumatoid arthritis pain

  • Wound healing

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Neck pain

  • Lower back pain

  • Knee pain

  • Ankle/foot pain

* Please let the doctor know if you are pregnant, currently being treated for cancer, have a pacemaker, have a health history of seizures, thyroid issues, diabetes or implants of any kind. These may be contraindications for laser therapy and should be considered for localized treatment areas.
