Cupping is a form of connective tissue and muscular decompression therapy used to promote blood flow to an injured area. It can also be used to encourage flushing stagnant blood from an area of injured tissue. Full-body cupping is a beneficial spa treatment; however, this is not a full-body treatment. This form of therapeutic cupping is targeted to the area of concern. The doctor may use both static cupping (stationary) and dynamic cupping (moving) as a part of your therapy for any number of musculoskeletal conditions.
